第137届玫瑰花车游行揭晓总冠军，加州理工州立大学花车夺冠

在第 137 届玫瑰花车游行中，一辆辆由花瓣精心装饰的花车接受评选并荣获奖项，其中，由加州理工州立大学系统（Cal Poly Universities）打造的花车 “丛林启航（Jungle Jumpstart）” 脱颖而出，斩获最高荣誉。
这辆花车由加州理工州立大学波莫纳分校（Cal Poly Pomona）和加州理工州立大学圣路易斯奥比斯波分校（Cal Poly San Luis Obispo）的学生共同设计和制作，画面呈现了一群热带雨林动物齐心协力，修复一台老旧机器人的场景。这是两校合作的第 77 次联合参赛作品，也是本届游行中唯一一辆完全由学生设计并亲手打造的花车，因此格外引人注目。
整辆花车共使用了超过 21,000 朵鲜花，并搭配多种天然材料进行装饰，包括研磨咖啡豆、卷曲柳枝以及核桃壳等，细节丰富、创意十足。
“总冠军奖（Sweepstakes Award）” 自 1924 年起在每届玫瑰花车游行中颁发，旨在表彰在花车设计、花卉呈现和整体娱乐效果等方面表现最为出色、最具美感的作品。
今年的玫瑰花车大游行以 “团队合作的魔力（The Magic in Teamwork）” 为主题，共有 23 辆获奖花车，其中包括圣地亚哥动物园野生动物联盟获得的 “总指挥奖（Grand Marshal Award）”，以及伯班克市获得的 “主题奖（Theme Award）”。
尽管气象预报显示将迎来历史性强降雨，第 137 届玫瑰花车游行仍如期在帕萨迪纳举行，成为这一传统上以晴朗著称的花卉盛会中少见的雨中新年游行。
