For the peace of my family, to avoid a lengthy and expensive trial, and to minimize the court drama associated with this case, several months ago I entered a guilty plea to the one charge filed against me.

为了给我家人安宁、避免冗长和昂贵的审讯，以及尽可能减少庭上争斗，几个月前，我同意检方对我提出一项指控的认罪协议。

I am withdrawing my guilty plea today and will seek a trial. I have made this decision due to the untruthful comments about my actions made by the Court and the U.S. Attorney’s Office, that are contradicted by the evidence in this case.

今天我决定撤销认罪协议，寻求审判，是因为法庭和联邦检察官办公室对我行为的不真实评断，与案中的证据相悖。

While my future and my ability to defend myself depend on my Alzheimer’s disease, I need to set the record straight about me and the Los Angeles County’s Sheriff Department on the misleading aspects of the Federal investigation while I am capable of doing so.

I want to thank my friends and family for encouraging me to stand up for what is right. My spirits are high and my love for all people is God’s gift to me.
