在社交網絡盛行的電子世代中，人們想透過網絡平台與友即時分享喜怒哀樂，但又擔心各人分享的隱私圖文遭人盜用，過去已傳播過數次的「臉書隱私騙局」，近期又在死灰復燃，透過臉書動態分享繼續擴散。
近期不少臉書用戶又見到朋友群中的動態分享，出現了以下內容
聲明：
自2016年7月1日週五起，我不批准Facebook來用我的照片，我的信息及我的出版物，無論是過去和未來，我的還是我的地方出現的那些的許可。
通過這句話，我給我的通知給Facebook，嚴禁披露，複製，分發，送人，賣給我的資料，照片，或採取對我任何其他操作此配置文件和/或其內容的基礎上。
此配置文件的內容是隱私和機密信息。隱私可以違反法律（UCC1-308-11308-103和羅馬規約）進行處罰。
注：現在Facebook是一個公共實體。所有成員都必須張貼一張紙條這樣。如果你願意，你可以複製並貼上此版本。
如果你不發布聲明至少一次，你給了默契允許使用你的照片，以及包含在配置文件的狀態更新信息。

其實這已非首次針對臉書隱私權問題傳出的「騙貼」，早在2012年起，隱私騙貼從英文版開始流傳，現已有各類語言的版本在臉書中流傳。
經《CBS電視台》查證臉書在近幾個星期內並無更新其隱私條例，因此近期流傳的「隱私騙帖」，已肯定是一個慣見的惡作劇連鎖信。
